Приєднався 3 бер 2014
Welcome to Forgotten Player Profiles! FPP is a channel that looks at sports players who, for one reason or another, are not talked about as much as they should be. These could be great role players, players with short runs or exceptional players of their era, but who were overshadowed by the legends of their era. FPP will look at each player's career chronologically to give viewers an in depth knowledge of how their career's played out. FPP hopes for viewers to either learn something new or take a trip down memory lane. Hope you enjoy!

Juwan Howard: This FAB FIVE STAR signed TWO $100 MILLION DOLLAR contracts in ONE OFFSEASON! | FPP
He rose to fame as a Member of the Michigan Wolverines Fab Five of the early 1990s, alongside Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson. He consistently performed and played a big role in Michigan's back to back National Championship appearances. After three years he was drafted by the Washington Bullets and would again join forces with Webber and eventually Rod Strickland. While the Bullets never reached the expectations people hoped for; Howard remained a good consistent player in the NBA during his time with Washington, helping them to a playoff appearance and being named a 1996 NBA All Star. After Washington, he had a few more solid years playing briefly with Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash on the Dallas Mavericks, then the Denver Nuggets and then spending a year alongside Tracy McGrady as a member of the Orlando Magic. But after a decade in the league, he seemed to transition to a bench player overnight, occupying a bench role for the remainder of his career. But he embraced that role and was one of the league's most valuable veteran leaders; and was finally rewarded in 2012 when he won an NBA Championship alongside LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh while playing for the Miami Heat. He would win one more before ending a 19 year career and transitioning to coaching. As his playing days ended with him as one of the underrated players of the 90s and 2000s, but he does hold the distinction of being the only Fab Five Member to win an NBA Title.

Armen Gilliam: This UNLV LEGEND might be the MOST FORGOTTEN #2 overall pick in NBA HISTORY | FPP
Переглядів 10 тис.День тому
He was a player built for 90s basketball as a wrestler and football player who became a college basketball star. Armen Gilliam AKA “The Hammer” played three incredible seasons at UNLV and was the leader of their most successful team pre-1990 National Championship. Gilliam was an offensive force under Jerry Tarkanian with his relentless and physical play, yet still possessed quickness and stamin...
Lamar Odom: UNDERRATED or UNDERACHIEVER? The X-FACTOR of the Late-2000 LA Lakers Championships | FPP
Переглядів 13 тис.День тому
In more recent years, Lamar Odom’s life was magnified for all the wrong reasons; culminating in a very public and almost fatal battle with addiction, made even more public by being involved with a Kardashian. But before all of this, Lamar Odom was one of the most unique players of the 21st century, who spent years with Kobe Bryant and eventually Pau Gasol as the Los Angeles Lakers won back to b...
Billy Sims: If this STAR HALFBACK doesn't get injured, The Lions NEVER DRAFT BARRY SANDERS?? | FPP

He was the Detroit Lions saviour at Running back before Barry Sanders. Billy Sims was one of the greatest college running backs of all time as his final two years with the Barry Switzer led Oklahoma Sooners, saw him put up some absurd numbers while winning the 1978 Heisman Trophy. He was the top prospect coming out of college and would be selected first overall by the Detroit Lions in 1980 NFL ...

He is one of the greatest Duke Blue Devils of all time, and one of the greatest NCAA point guards of all time. Jay Williams played three years for the Duke Blue Devils as one of the only freshman point guards to start for coach K. He would team with future NBA talent like Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer, Mike Dunleavy Jr. and Chris Duhon during his time at Duke. He would win three ACC tournament t...
Billy Owens: The Career of the Man who INSPIRED KEVIN DURANT’S GAME | FPP
Переглядів 26 тис.2 місяці тому
He has the unfortunate distinction of being best remembered as the player Don Nelson traded Mitch Richmond for when he broke up Golden State’s RUN TMC Trio, and this kept a cloud over his head during his best years in the NBA, but Billy Owens was a rare talent especially in the era he came up in, but gets an unfair distinction as a bust. He was a Pennsylvania legend at Carlisle High School, the...
Earl Boykins: A BONAFIDE SCORER! The Career of the 2nd Shortest Player in NBA HISTORY | FPP
Переглядів 12 тис.2 місяці тому
Aside from the great Muggsy Bogues, Earl Boykins is the shortest player in NBA history. He wasn’t the muscular defensive hound that Bogues was, and he wasn’t the jumper that the 5’7” Spud Webb was, but the 5’5” 135 Pound Boykins was a scorer through and through. He was shifty and crafty with his footwork, and an expert at getting his defender off the balance or in the air; and possessed a respe...
Dajuan Wagner: The Camden Legend touted as THE NEXT ALLEN IVERSON… But his body FAILED HIM | FPP
Переглядів 12 тис.2 місяці тому
He is a legend in Camden, New Jersey; he was nothing short of a phenom during his high school career with the Camden Panthers. He left the school after his 2001 senior season as the highest scoring player in New Jersey State history, and in his senior year had done the improbable, as he scored 100 points in a single game; as the best moment of a career filled with high scoring. He would be the ...
Keith Van Horn: Were the Expectations TOO HIGH? Or was this #2 overall pick a SCAPEGOAT? | FPP

He is arguably the greatest player in Utah Utes history. A four year starter, who as a freshman was one of the best players in the nation, he had some great years alongside Andre Miller and Michael Doleac as Utah had some success. Then when his 4 years were up, he was not only an NBA prospect, there was even chatter of him going #1, and he may have had it not been for a Wake Forest Power Forwar...
Michael Dickerson: The MOST FORGOTTEN Member of the Short-Lived Vancouver Grizzlies | FPP

Wherever he played, he was a good player, but he would also often find himself overshadowed by the bigger name players. Michael Dickerson had a short career, but during that time showed how he could be an all around score and really primed to serve as a great and selfless player for years to come… He started with a stellar high school career which saw NBA Players like Ricky Pierce requesting to...

Ricky Davis: He thought LeBron James would be HIS SIDEKICK! The Career of Ricky Buckets | FPP

He’s infamously known for his shot at his own basket in an attempt to get a triple double; he would routinely bust out 360 and between the legs dunks in games, and he never met a shot he didn’t like. Scoop Jackson compared him to Isaiah Rider, and like JR Rider, Ricky Davis had all the tools to be a great NBA player, but struggled with selfishness and immaturity early in his career. He played o...

Dee Brown: The FULL CAREER STORY of an NBA Slam Dunk Contest ICON | FPP

He’s one of the least talked about great scorers of the 21st century and especially of the 2000s NBA, and at the time of writing this, he is one of two hall of fame eligible players (the other is Tom Chambers) with at least 20,000 Career points who has not been voted in. Nothing sad about his life going down the tubes..dude's a wife-beating pos and a complete narcissist.
Chicago in the bldg!!
I know basketball and I believe he's a top 75 player please understand what a truth definition of a basketball player this man can do it all
God i miss the way the 90's basketball
The Rock
Do Malik Rose?
Dude was good for 43 mins a c- player
Damn good player, piss poor attitude and temper. The $21 million contract not being enough to feed his family is a great example of how stupid some athletes are.
I loved Davis when he was on the Celtics. Bro could hoop
Ahsmwm He did not like to go right.
Juwan got Chris traded, so nah.
Would love to see a video about Jason Richardson, Darius Miles, Desmond Mason, Ilgauskas, Cutting Mobley, Jason Terry and/or Robert Covington
Ben Gordon also 😅💯🏀
Damn, I really have missed a lot of these profiles. Have to check em all out!
Didn't see this one until now. Armen was solid guy, good to know you did one of him!
We’re also waiting for a Kevin Martin Sharpshooter 🎯 video 🙏🏼🫡
Can you please do one on LaPhonso Ellis
I hope Mr Howard put enough of that money away for later. He just blew a great opportunity. He got fired as head coach of Michigan because of his bad temper and inability to get along with his fellow athletic department staff colleagues and his players. A long time well respected trainer resigned because of the toxic environment Howard created.
He was that man when he played
Thanks for doing this one. I had requested this months ago. Armen was a good and solid forward, always respected his game.
he wasnt worth it
replay a game due to irregularities? sounds like a fix wasnt fixed properly, what a sham...i remember him giving it to jordan....RIP
i remember when he was picked up by the suns with their vaunted training staff to try and resurrect his career...never played a game, i knew he was done then, it was sad
he was good at everything, but not great at anything...and im a steelers fan, loved the excitement he brought because you never knew, was it going to be heroic, or a let down on every play...his best position was WR, had many one handers and yards after catch was great
And he could catch!!! Good hands. Corey Dillon was my fuckin guy 💯 madden 03 they couldn't see me with him 🤣🤣 love this dude. Great player. Hall of famer 💯
I remember I had the spiral notebook in elementary school from Staples with him and Chris Webber on the front in the red bullets jerseys. Great times as a 90s kid 🤣 shout out the Capital center
This channel is so underrated. It’s a crime
FACTS
only thing he had in common with bird was skin color....he would do better now that the nba has taken the phsicallity out of the game....but that haircut, ooof....he was definately slept on, anyone who can score 20 for a season in the nba is no scrub
To be honest, he doesn’t know that he jumped really high. It just looks like he just had hang time
Nah juwan Howard was a solid bum
Another waste of talent dumb ni99@
Darius Miles and Q ?
He was far more than just statistics....they brought attitudes and toughness
That Miami deal is an interesting what if. Still don't think they beat the Bulls for either of those last 2 years but it does shake up the East in that post MJ era
Derrick Rose is the BIGGEST WHAT IF IN BULLS HISTORY
Solid player. And actually a good journey man, solid utility player.
I can’t believe that the wizards made him the first $100 million man in NBA history Still, I’ll admit that he was pretty good 👍
they did, glenn robinson was the highest rookie contact at 10 years 68 million in 1994, juwan was 1996 ..
Nice video! Can you pls do Nick van exel?

Man I remember him in 90's, definitely a very good player on the court that doesn't get the praise due to him. Thank you for the trip back down memory lane!
I remember him also, but, when he was a 76er,I was living in Philly during the 90s.I also remember Barkley critising Gilliam and Hershey Hawkins in the newspaper and radio interviews in Philly.Barkley also said crazy, outrageous things in the press and on the radio to get the 76ers owner ( Harold Katz ) to trade him, which he finally did,to Phoenix.
Great video as usual. Please do one on: Charles Oakley , spud Webb, Terry Cummings , George gervin, lisa Leslie, Rebecca lobo,
